Dear Coral Gables Voter:

I imagine you agree with me there is no more important issue confronting all of us than the economy.

For the past two years, I have focussed on improving our local economy by:

1) Creating, and disseminating, my "Two-Point Proposal for U.S. Economic Recovery",

2 Point Proposal to End the Mortgage Meltdown, and to End The Great Recession
1) We know, from the Audit of the Federal Reserve Board, the Good News that the Federal Reserve Board has actively asserted itself to rescue the economy, specifically, http://www.unelected.org/audit-of-the-federal-reserve-reveals-16-trillion-in-secret-bailouts , that $12 TRILLION DOLLARS has been provided our nation's largest lending institutions. I propose that those lending institutions be ordered to re-lend much of the $12 trillion dollars to main street businesses and individuals. Recirculating the $12 trillion dollars given to banks, to main street is enough money to End the Recession!
2) Additionally, considering The Mortgage Meltdown was the cause of, and greatest component of, The Great Recession, to specifically end The Mortgage Meltdown, I propose that the Federal Reserve Bank, which properly made emergency loans of $16 trillion at 0% interest to banks, underwrite refinancing the total $1.5 trillion in foreclosing mortgages, at 2%, subject to review every 3 years for possible modification and/or termination. That effectively ends The Mortgage Meltdown, thereby ending the cause of, and greatest component of, The Great Recession.

                          2) Our Miami-Dade County “Gateway to Latin America” Economy

Given that Miami, as "The Gateway to Latin America", has an economy dependent on the free flow of commerce, trade, banking, and tourism to and from Latin America, I have realized that legitimate post-9/11/2001 Congressional restrictions have unintentionally hurt the ability of Latin Americans to carry out these transactions. As such, from 9/11/2001 to now, I have devoted great personal time and effort to trying to help our nation bring the 9/11/2001 hijackers to justice. My efforts have been indirectly acknowledged by our former U.S. Senator Bob Graham, who, as you know, was also the Co-Chair of the Congressional Joint Inquiry into the 9/11/2001 attack. Please see my photo with former Senator Graham below.

What is important here is that with Osama Bin Laden now dead, the only remaining 9/11 terrorist leader is Ayman Al Zawahiri. Once he is brought to justice, Congress will be able to begin relaxing restrictions on our “Gateway to Latin America” Economy, such that South American shoppers, investors, and traders can spend more money here, and by this factor alone, improve Coral Gables’ economy by 5% to 15%.
